Stir-Fried Wong Bok Recipe

The Chinese believes in balancing the Yin and Yang. This stir-fried wong bok recipe contribute the cooling (Yin) factor in your diet to balance the heat(Yang) factor in most meat dishes.

Stir-fried wong bokIngredients:

  • 500g Wong Bok
  • 1 tsp Minced Garlic
  • 1 Tbsp Oyster Sauce*
  • 1 Tbsp Light Soy Sauce*
  • Dash of Pepper*
  • Dash of Sesame Oil*
  • 1/2 tsp Sugar*
  • 1 tsp Cornflour with 200ml Water


  1. Wash and cut the Wong Bok into slices. Discard the hard stem at the base.
  2. Heat a non-stick wok and add a little cooking oil.
  3. Stir-fry garlic until fragrant.
  4. Add Wong Bok and seasoning ingredients*. Stir-fry for 1 minute.
  5. Add cornflour mixture and stir until sauce thickens.
  6. Serve.
