Garlic Roast Chicken

A simple to prepare and healthy recipe to roast a whole chicken flavoured with only garlic, salt, soy sauce and sesame oil.

Garlic Roast ChickenIngredients:

  • 1 Small Chicken (about 1kg)
  • 4 Cloves Garlic
  • 2 Tbsp Light Soy Sauce*
  • Dash of Pepper*
  • Pinch of Salt*
  • 1 tsp Sesame Oil*


  1. Heat oven to 200°C.
  2. Crush the garlic cloves and mix with the seasoning ingredients.
  3. Rub the mixture over the skin and inner cavity of the chicken.
  4. Place the garlic pieces and remaining seasoning inside the chicken.
  5. Cook in covered casserole dish for 30-40 minutes until cooked.
  6. Serve whole.
